Why FireFox 3 Will Destroy the contest

It toka little of hacking of install.rdf files to figure outwhich extensions really didn�t work and which simplysaid they didn�t workbut I�m now running Firefox 3 Beta 2 as my browser under Fedora. to this point my opinion is blended, especially when I heard about one of the mostir adjustmentspost-Beta 2, but mainly good.

Firefox 3 introduces whon they�ve known asthe almighty bar. Basically it�s a location bar on steroids after a nasty case of interface re-writing. More of my thoughts on it are here. If it wasn�t bad enough that �sl� doesn�t list slashdot because the basicresult to any extent extrathen this is also big, attention grabbing and that intrusive. directly top of thon they�ve apparently removed the manner to revert back to the straightforwardr rendering (if not the unique auto-complete-instead-of-searching-everything-and-the-kitchen-sink behaviour)

at the plus side the rendering has improved (it now passes Acid2 as an arbitrary CSS test) and this is apparently much leaner, faster and not more memory hungry then Firefox 2 (it's currently employingabout 64MB of oneGB after an hour of browsing - never actually checked previous versions).

more things i love are the rapidbookmark icon and (for thereforeme reason) the inclusion of the favicon on slightly button. i assume it makes it easier to peer that you're going to be able to take actionmething with it (alalthoughwhy they hid the location security informationbehind it I don�t know). I don�t tfinishto make use of the downplentymanager an excessive amount of, however the developments they�re intendedto have put within the re sound smart(searching, resuming,Tashard Choice Jersey, dataincluding where you downloaded it from when you�ve finished downloading). The overhaul of thbookmarks also seems to offer morechronic and versatility,Vince Young Jersey, but quite why they modifyd it to �places� I don�t know. Oh, and that i love that it now uses localGTK widgets. So, is anyone else employingFirefox 3 yet,Zach Miller Jersey, and what do you think that

I�ve lost ColorZilla, which I hardly used, and Tab combinePlus, which i exploitd to reset a few bits of behaviour and that was about it. Venkman,Kenny Stabler Jersey, WebDeveloper, Live Page Rank,Willie Parker Jersey, AdBlock Plus and the British English dictionary all worked and Download prestigeBar have an update at their site, but not within the addons site.
